Scottsdale, AZ (Serious Speculator 6/22/2011) – Green Planet Group, Inc (OTCBB: GNPG) announced last week, the acquisition of Global Energy International, LLC, a company that has developed a proprietary hydrogen generator that claims to improve fuel consumption in gasoline car engines by 20% and more. While the terms of the acquisition are still unknown we’ve drawn some conclusions as a result of our own research that are worth noting as they are not readily apparent in the company’s press release of June 7th.

Green Energy International, LLC appears to be an entity that primarily consists of two significant assets.  The first is a proprietary design for a hydrogen generator that can be retrofit onto motor vehicles and can significantly improve fuel consumption while reducing harmful emissions.  GEI’s version of the hydrogen generator is certainly not the only one out there.  I know of at least one that is or was on the Pink Sheets and there’s probably more pink sheet companies promoting hydrogen generators for cars but, according to Green Planet Group CEO, Edmond Lonergan, none of the competitors can match Global Energy International’s efficiency.

According to Green Planet Group, the immediate impact of installing the hydrogen generator is an improvement in fuel economy of at least 20% and a reduction of approximately 60% in harmful emissions.

We contacted Green Planet Group and spoke to a representative who informed us he and other members of the Green Planet Group team had begun testing the system on a Ford Crown Victoria taxi provided by one of the local cab companies and, after several days of driving, they announced they had realized gas savings of a staggering 60%.   While they admitted to some inconsistencies in their testing and said that they are continuing to work to refine the computer controls on the hydrogen generator, these numbers still represent a real attention grabber and tell us this is a story to watch as it unfolds.

The second asset Green Planet Group obtained in the acquisition of Global Energy International is Global Energy International’s President, Arnie Boyle.  Arnie is well known throughout Southern California as an inventor and motor vehicle aficionado.  In 1993 Arnie, developed a product designed to prevent graffiti from being sprayed on buildings.

killer glassBoyle also has developed devices for cleaning swimming pools and for customizing vans and Volkswagen Beetles.  In 2008, Boyle’s hydrogen generator was featured on an episode of Chopper Challenge on CMT TV when it was fitted on a customized motorcycle designed and built by Alan Lee of Alan Lee Designs.

Here’s what the folks at KillerGlass.com, who participated in the project, had to say about Boyle’s hydrogen generator. “Above you can see the Killerglass intercooler plumbing for the Procharger along with the Hydrogen supply tank we designed with guidance from the inventor of the system Arnie Boyle. Soon to be released, the  first EPA and CARB certified hydrogen system for on road use. This bad boy really works!! More on that later.”

Like many inventors, Arnie Boyle is remarkably talented at invention but, over the years, has achieved mixed results in finding the right people to team up with to fund his projects and to help bring his inventions to market.   By combining with Green Planet Group, he just may have created the ideal partnership he has sought for so long.  Regardless, in addition to Boyle and his hydrogen generator, were told that Green Planet Group has access to Boyle’s other inventions as well and can sort through them all to find the ones that offer the greatest likelihood of success and economic opportunity.

It’s still a little early to know if this is a ticket to prosperity for GNPG shareholders but, at the very least, we think that bringing Arnie Boyle onto the Green Planet Group team represents a value added well beyond the hydrogen generator technology that has been the focus of Green Planet Group’s press releases and therefore  warrants your keeping an eye on it anyway.
