Polaris International Holdings takes another step toward IPTV
Polaris International Holdings (OTC: PIHN) announced today that the Company and Auricast, Inc. a multimedia production, publishing, and distribution company, www.auricast.com, have entered into a Strategic Relationship Agreement. Auricast will provide Polaris Technologies support for WiMax and IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) distribution. Auricast will provide both technical support and content for IPTV channels including standard definition, high definition, and 3D categories. This agreement is part of PIHN’s initiative to enter the IPTV market in Japan and throughout Asia.
The Auricast team has over 25 years experience in the design, creation, and implementation of media management systems and audio-visual environments. Just a few examples include Broadcast automation technology for Sony and Phillips Broadcast, commercial insertion systems for Cable and Satellite, touring systems for the Rolling Stones, Genesis, U2, and many others, theme park attractions for Paramount, and a digital highlight network for Fox Sport.
